The DivXT codec is a MPEG-4 based video compression technology that can shrink digital video to very small sizes, while maintaining high visual quality. To encode and playback videos using DivX compression you need to download and install the codec. You can download it free of charge from www.divx.com

To record videos using DivX compression, select capture then video compression. From the Video Crompression dialog select the DivX codec. To adjust compression rate and quality use the Configure button. Then hit OK and start recording.

Note: once the DivX codec is installed, Microsoft Media Player can be used to playback DixV movies. If you need enhanced playback features, You can also purchase the DivX Pro player from www.divx.com.
